It Took 1,800 People to Pull a 400-Ton Castle Keep Back Toward Home

Hirosaki Castle's keep was rolled 256 feet aside in 2015 so the stone walls beneath it could be rebuilt. Volunteers have now hauled it 7.5 feet back over two days, and the work will not be finished until 2033.
